Circuit Court Filing Fee Changes Effective October 1, 2011, and January 1, 2012

The 76^th Oregon Legislative Assembly, in its 2011 regular session, enacted Oregon Laws 2011, chapter 595.  In Chapter 595, the legislature enacted a simplified statewide system of uniform Oregon circuit court filing fees.  Additional legislation went into effect on January 1, 2012; some of that legislation affected court fees.  The link below will take you to the statewide fee schedule for particular actions in circuit courts.  Each fee includes a reference to the statute or authority that established the fee.  For some actions, the fee authority needs to be included in the document caption along with the amount of the action.  Should you have any questions about the fee schedule for your filing or circumstance, please consult that local circuit court's website or contact the circuit court.  Questions for local filing and fee issues must be handled locally to provide correct guidance for those issues, including fee waiver or deferral procedures and scheduling.
