Welcome to the Circuit Court in Corvallis, Oregon.

Benton County Circuit Court is the Twenty-First Judicial District, one of 27 judicial districts in the state trial court system. Our role is to resolve disputes according to the law, and process other legal transactions, as allowed by law. We cover the geographical area of Benton County although we are not part of county government. Our court has 3 elected judges that serve for six year terms.

We will be closed from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on December 2, due to electrical work in the building.
 
Because of budget cuts state courts and state court offices will be closed on the following days for employee furloughs:

2011 Fee Schedule (October 1, 2011 updates)

Change to Declaratory Judgment Action Fees, Effective June 17, 2011      “As of June 17, 2011, multiple party filing fees no longer apply to actions for declaratory judgments filed on or after January 1, 2011.  [See sections 5, 6, and 7 of HB 2667.]  This law change means that some fees in declaratory judgment actions filed between January 1 and June 30, 2011, may be refundable.  Please contact your local circuit court if you have questions regarding filing fees in these actions.”
