CCS Home>The Non-Degree Study Program allows individuals who have not been formally accepted into degree-seeking status at UConn to take undergraduate or graduate level credit courses. ( View schedule of classes)
To guide you through the registration process, visit our credit Registration Center for complete details
Classes are offered day, evening and weekends at our six campuses and online.
Registration as a non-degree student is on a space-available basis. If you have questions, contact a Center for Continuing Studies Non-Degree academic advisor for assistance.
Credits earned from UConn courses are transferable to most other institutions. Credits earned may also be used toward acceptance into specific UConn degree programs, with some restrictions.
Requirements
In addition to fall and spring classes, non-degree students may enroll in May Term, Summer Sessions and Winter Intersession classes. We also offer two degree opportunities: the Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree and the Master of Professional Studies degree. Click on the links to learn more about these programs.
Please note that non-degree status does not constitute, guarantee, or imply admission into any program at UConn.
