About this Site

This generation of the University of Alabama's College of Communication and Information Science's site was established in December 2009. Content for the site is developed by Misty Mathews in conjunction with all the departments and service units of the college. The site was developed by Daniel Tincher, a member of Techsvs. The site is managed by Techsvs under the supervision of Greg Goldstein. The site will continually evolve based on industry best practices and the needs of the College of Communication and Information Sciences

Web Standards

The CIS site was built using current web standards in order to achieve a robust information tool for all visitors. The site uses standards outlined by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The site utilizes Usablenet Assistive to generate text-only versions of all pages on the CIS site.

Web Policy

The CIS site and all official and unofficial CIS sites are governed by and subject to the World Wide Web Policy of The University of Alabama.
