Text Mining in Environmental Literature

Develop text mining methods that enable resolve contradictory and redundant evidence from text.

Blake’s project will incorporate technologies that can identify claims in electronically available scientific literature. Scholars will be able to see how research around a certain topic relates to research in another field.

Rather than get people to read the vast amount of literature that is produced in all the disciplines, we can provide better tools to allow an expert from one discipline to drill down into the research of a different area to see how one claim is related to another claim.
