The UF Sports Medicine Primary Care Fellowship offers an externship experience for visiting residents interested in our program. These externships are one week in duration and occur during late August and September each year. We ask that you complete the universal fellowship application ( http://www.newamssm.org/Fellow.htm) to apply for these externships. Once we have reviewed your universal application, we will contact you to schedule the externship. Spaces are limited. The remainder of your application materials – letters of recommendation, board scores, copies of publications, etc, can be submitted just prior to the start of your externship. Scheduling a partial week is not preferred but possible; these will be arranged on a case-by-case basis.

Applications from all primary care fields will be accepted but preference is given to family medicine applicants. Applications must be received by the AMSSM universal deadline of October 1st prior to the entering year.
