Faculty

Family Medicine faculty and residents making hospital rounds. Our faculty continue to be highly evaluated for their medical student teaching activities. CHFM faculty are involved in the First Year Preceptorship and the Essentials of Patient Care courses; Ethics, and Physical Diagnosis courses in the second year; the six-week Interdisciplinary Clerkship in the third year; and various electives and our in-patient rotation in the fourth year of the curriculum. Our medical student teaching activities are directed by Dr. Robert Hatch, who heads our Medical Education program.

The accomplishments of our Family Medicine Residency Programs are documented by Drs. Hall and Wilson. We graduate eight new family physicians each year from our Gainesville program and ten per year from Jacksonville. The vast majority of our graduates have established successful family practices around the state.
