Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE)

CEE applies science and technology to the planning, design, analysis, construction, operation and maintenance of infrastructure and the natural environment.

Our focus is on two program areas: environmental and water resources engineering and civil infrastructure systems. Within civil infrastructure systems, students specialize in transportation and structural engineering, solid mechanics or pavement engineering.

News, Events, and Vision:

Our Department

CEE offers an accredited undergraduate degree in civil engineering that includes proficiency in infrastructure systems and water resources. Graduate degrees are awarded at the M.E., M.S. and Ph.D. levels in environmental and water resources engineering and civil infrastructure systems, including transportation, structural, solid mechanics and materials, construction and pavement engineering.
