Scheduling Appointments on CAVLink

Scheduling an appointment has never been easier. Students can now request an appointment 24/7 via CAVLink! Getting started is easy - follow these steps:

1.) After logging in to CAVLink, click "Request a Counseling Appointment" on the right hand side.

2.) Filter based on your preferences - appointment type, counselor, day, time and more! Tip: to see more appointment options, try only one or two filters to begin with.

Online Resources now available in CAVLink!

The U.Va. Career Center subscribes to many online resources for our students. These include job and internship search tools, career exploration tools, research tools, and more. Previously, many of these resources were located in a section of our website called MyUCS. Now you can find them all in a one-stop shop in CAVLink. To access these resources, log into CAVLink, click the Resources tab, and click the Online Job/Internships Resources link.

The American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) will host its first-ever occupational therapy virtual education fair. Essentially, this is an online grad fair where OT programs across the country can connect and interact with prospective students in a live virtual setting.

USOAR Applications due Aug 7th

Undergraduate Student Opportunities for Academic Research (USOAR) is a program that targets rising first, second, and transfer undergraduate students who do not have previous significant experience in research and are looking to participate in paid research opportunities with faculty members within their area of interest. USOAR not only introduces students to the enriching experiences surrounding research, it also provides students with the chance to build strong relationships with faculty.

'15-16 Graduate & Professional School Advising Student Assistant Position

The UVA Career Center fosters holistic career development and facilitates connections to educate, inspire confidence, and empower all students to launch professionally and personally fulfilling lives. This position serves on the Graduate and Professional School Advising (GPSA) Team which functions within the Career Center to offer pre-health, pre-law, and graduate school advising to all UVa students.
