The Council of Presidents
Organizations in this council are dedicated to serving those around them. This group of professional business fraternities, clubs, and organizations interacts with the College of Business through a variety of manners. Through monthly meetings, groups in the Council of Presidents are able to communicate and coordinate different philanthropic, professional, and service events.

Social Entrepreneurship Institute
Intellectual capital to invest in the community.
The Social Entrepreneurship Institute (formerly known as SESI) is a multi-faceted civic engagement initiative that combines business education outreach for professionals working in the non-profit sector with service-learning internships for University of Illinois students. The institute features lectures and workshops by U of I faculty, APs, and business professionals; and the curriculum emphasizes principles in social entrepreneurship. Students apply the concepts learned during the institute and companion course, Social Entrepreneurship & the Citizen Leader, to address community needs in innovative and sustainable ways.
