Alice's Bio
My name is Alice and I’m a senior in Psychology at the University of Illinois. I came into this school as a 2013 graduate but I have opted to graduate in 3 years. I plan on continuing my experience at this university at the School of Labor and Employment on this campus. My experiences from day one have been exhilarating and unforgettable. I think the most important thing I have learned is to try everything this campus has to offer. My greatest experiences have been the ones that I simply walked into. The greatest people I have met happened into my life. I think that as some of you embark into the first year of your college life, it’s important to just let things happen. Don't try to plan everything, don’t inhibit yourself- just let go.
This university has given me the opportunity to get exposed to a plethora of interesting academic and personal experiences. I have knowledge in linguistics, child development, atmospheric sciences, modern philosophy, leadership and fairytales. I believe that this knowledge makes me more whole as a person and more confident entering the workplace. I have also met people from every walk of life who have taught me how to be successful and respectful in this multicultural world. Not only have I learned about their experiences, they have in turn taught me about myself.
I am looking forward to starting the next chapter of my life in graduate school but will never forget how these years changed my path. I hope that you will all have your own adventures on this campus. Feel free to see where my journeys have taken me through my blogs!
