About Teaching Tools
The PBO project offers many opportunities to learn more about aspects of American history, life and culture. In addition to developing a structured contolled vocabulary, we have developed several essays, galleries, lesson plans, and other resources. The resources listed below are ideal for the lifelong learner, as well as teachers and students in K-12. To accompany many of the galleries and essays, we have developed lesson plans and other resources to be used in the classroom. Each lesson plan has been created with educational standards in mind and is geared toward different age groups. We will be adding more lesson plans, galleries, and other teaching resources on a regular basis. We welcome your comments and ideas about these resources and about the PBO project in general.
