Visiting Artists and Lecturers Series

The Department of Art and Art History has an active visiting artists and lecturers program in conjunction with the Paul R. Jones Collection of American Art and the Sarah Moody Gallery of Art. We bring vanguard artists who represent the entire spectrum of contemporary art to campus in order to supplement the strength and expertise of the faculty. Our Visiting Artists and Lecturers Series is an integral part of the undergraduate and graduate experience at The University of Alabama in which artists, critics, and scholars present public lectures and offer individual critiques to students in our graduate program. This series is intrinsic to our mission of outreach to the university community and beyond.
