The Alabama Alumni Association extends its sympathy to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the storms of April 27, 2011. Visit the UA Memorial Page
In the wake of the devastating tornado that hit Tuscaloosa Wednesday, countless alumni and friends from around the country have contacted the National Alumni Association with heartfelt offers of help. Please go to Contributions to UA Acts of Kindness Fund that has been created to help UA students, faculty and staff who have suffered loss as a result of the tornado.
Other ways to contribute to relief efforts:
American Red Cross - Make checks payable to American Red Cross and note in the memo line Alabama Disaster Relief
Salvation Army - "Designate your gifts to the "April 2011 Tuscaloosa Tornado Disaster Relief" on your check's memo line or on-line donation specific use box, allowing 100% to stay in Tuscaloosa and help The Salvation Army rebuild our town!"
