What is my Library Account / card
(library accounts are not available to alumni, community members or Sm@rtlibrary members)
A library account is a login/user ID and PIN number issued to current Algonquin faculty, staff and students. It enables you to:
- borrow from the library
- participate in direct borrowing programs with partner libraries.
- renew items online
- place holds on items within the library’s online catalogue
- access the library’s licensed e-resources off campus.
About the library card:
- Carry your ID/Library Card with you at all times as it is required to borrow materials.
- Cards are not transferable and should only be used by the individual named on the card.
- Lending your card to another user OR using another individual's card can result in a loss of library privileges.
