We offer a number of visit options for you and your family. Read about our programs and register when you're ready to schedule your visit.

Daily Visits
Offered most weekdays at 10 a.m. and/or 1 p.m., each program is approximately 2 hours in length. Each program begins with a presentation by the Admissions Office. Guests then have the opportunity to interact with current University students during a student panel and take a student-led tour of campus and a University Residence Hall.
Optional College Meetings are available by request when you sign up for your visit. See information at the bottom of this page regarding College Meetings. Please note some college and departmental meetings may not be available during Summer Registration for new students, which runs from May 29 through mid-July.

Summer Visit Programs
Offered weekdays from July 16 to August 10 at 10 a.m., the Summer Visit Programs are similar to our Daily Visit program, but include optional afternoon college meetings.
Each program begins with a presentation by the Admissions Office. Guests then have the opportunity to interact with current University students during a student panel and take a student-led tour of campus and a University Residence Hall.
Our larger academic communities hold standing meetings at 1:30 p.m.:
- College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences
- College of Business
- College of Engineering – A tour of the Engineering Quad and facilities is available at 1:30 p.m., followed by an optional Q&A session with Engineering staff at 3 p.m.
- Division of General Studies
Optional College Meetings for our smaller colleges are available by request during the afternoon and can be requested when you register for the visit program.

Transfer Information Sessions
Targeted towards prospective transfer students, these programs are available on the first and third Friday of the month at 1:00 p.m., beginning in October.
Each program is approximately 2 hours in length and begins with an admissions presentation providing an overview of campus, admissions information, and insight into the transfer process at Illinois. You will also recieve a student-led tour of campus and a University Residence Hall.

Optional College Meetings
Visitors attending Daily Visits and Transfer Information Sessions have the option of requesting a college meeting in addition to the Admissions program. Registrants should request a college meeting at least one week before their program in order to allow adequate time for an appointment to be scheduled. Please be aware that colleges may not be available for meetings every day.

College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Science – A standing meeting is available at 1:30 p.m.; students planning to attend this session should register for the 10:00 a.m. admissions session. Advance registration is required, so please request a College Meeting when scheduling a campus visit.

College of Business – Information sessions are available at 1:30 p.m.; students planning to attend this session should register for the 10:00 a.m. admissions session. Advance registration is required, so please request a College Meeting when scheduling a campus visit.

College of Engineering – Tours of the Engineering Quad are available at 2 p.m. Group question and answer sessions with an Assistant Dean or Academic Advisor will follow the tour at approximately 3:30 p.m.

School of Music – Meeting with an admissions counselor in the School of Music is typically available at 1:30 p.m. daily. Advance registration is required to meet with an admission counselor, so please request a College Meeting when scheduling a campus visit. If you would like to schedule a prospective student lesson, appointment with faculty member, or otherwise personalize your visit, please visit the School of Music prospective student website to make arrangements before scheduling your campus visit through Undergraduate Admissions.

Other Colleges and Departments – Individual appointments with other colleges or departments may be requested when you register for your Daily Visit.
